Cal Fresh’s Social Media strategy was centered around busting myths and dissipating stigma around Cal Fresh benefits, as well as making Cal Fresh services feel more approachable for students.

Social Media Campaigns

Alongside managing Cal Poly CalFresh’s regular social media presence, I helped plan and execute many custom branded campaigns, including Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. I created cohesive, week-long content schedules for posts and stories, driving engagement.

Another social media campaign, Cal Fresh Outreach Week, was launched in order to promote and grow the Cal Fresh community. This campaign consisted of educational posts, giveaways, testimonials, email newsletters, and a collaborative zine.
